Over the past 10 years, Dr. Lam has traveled to various parts of Southeast Asia to provide dental services to the poor and needy.  When not serving overseas, Dr. Lam contributes to his community through local charities and programs such as Compassion Southeast and NW Medical teams.  As dental director for the Good Samaritan Medical Dental Ministry (GSMDM), Dr. Lam has been returning to various parts of Vietnam every summer for the last few years to give his time and efforts to reach those who do not have any access to medical or dental attention.
